‌PTFE fiber‌ (also known as polytetrafluoroethylene fiber or fluorofiber) is a representative variety of fluorine-containing special fiber. It is made from polytetrafluoroethylene through spinning or film splitting fibrillation. The extremely strong carbon-fluorine bonds in its molecular structure endow it with excellent properties: its chemical stability far outperforms other synthetic fibers, resistant to strong acids, strong alkalis and even aqua regia. It has a wide operating temperature range from -180℃ to 260℃, with extremely low friction coefficient, excellent weather aging resistance, insulation and flame retardancy. However, it also has disadvantages such as poor dyeability, low thermal conductivity and large thermal expansion coefficient.

‌PVDF fiber is a high-performance special fiber prepared with polyvinylidene fluoride as raw material. It combines excellent chemical stability, temperature and weather resistance, and mechanical strength, and resists corrosion from strong acids and alkalis, enabling long-term use in extreme environments ranging from -40℃ to 150℃. It also boasts unique piezoelectric and dielectric properties with strong processing adaptability. It is not only widely used in industrial fields such as water treatment ultrafiltration membranes, lithium battery diaphragm coatings, and chemical anti-corrosion filter materials, but also can be applied to civil products such as wearable piezoelectric sensors and waterproof and moisture-permeable functional fabrics. It is an indispensable key material in high-end fields such as new energy, environmental protection, and electronic information.

To meet the demanding requirements of extreme working conditions across different industries, Suzhou Mydellan NMT Co.,Ltd offers a complete range of PTFE and PVDF filament fiber. Our product line perfectly fits the production needs of various end products including PTFE sewing thread, woven base fabric, and base fabric for needle-punched and spunlace filter materials.
