NFPA 1999

NFPA 1999 is the standard for medical protective clothing formulated by the National Fire Protection Association of the United States, which is widely applicable to medical emergency. The standard requires low-level protection against blood and body fluids. Protective clothing is divided into categories such as face protection, protective clothing,disposable first aid gloves and first aid shoes.

According to different protective functions, protective clothing can be divided into healthy protective clothing (such as radiation protection clothing, cold protection clothing, heat insulation clothing and antibacterial clothing, etc.), safety protective clothing (such as flame-retardant clothing, arc protective clothing, anti-static clothing, Bullet-proof suits, stab-proof suits, space suits, diving suits, acid-proof suits, etc.) and hygienic work clothes (such as oil-proof and water-repellent suits, dust-proof suits, etc.).
