BS EN1149 is a series of test methods and requirements issued by the European Standards Committee for uating the electrostatic performance of protective clothing.
BS EN1149-1 tests the majority of electrostatic dissipation behavior based on surface resistance, but it is not suitable for uating the entire garment.
BS EN1149-2 is the test material resistance method standard (loop resistance);
BS EN1149-3 is the standard for measuring charge decay methods;
BS EN1149-5 specifies the antistatic material properties and design requirements for protective clothing.
