Fire Rescue Protective Fabrics

Flame-retardant fabrics are mainly divided into two types:
1.Flame retardant fibers: Directly producing flame-retardant fibers or fabrics made of high-temperature flame-retardant fibers, which have permanent flame-retardant properties. High-performance flame-retardant fibers include Kevlar, PBI, Nomex, and Modacrylic.
2.Post-processing flame retardant: Chemically modifying or flame-retardant post-treating textiles, which is cost-effective but the flame-retardant properties may decrease over time and washing cycles. For example, cotton-silk flame-retardant fabric treated with PROBAN flame-retardant process.
