OeKo Tex Standard 100

OEKO Tex Standard 100 is a standard used to check harmful chemicals and heavy metals in apparel and other textile products. It is an international lab testing and textile certification system, applicable to both fabrics and finished clothing, created by OEKO Tex.

If a fabric carries the STANDARD 100 label, you can be certain that this fabric has been tested for harmful substances and that the article therefore is harmless for human health. The test is conducted by independent OEKO-TEX® partner institutes. Among the numerous regulated and non-regulated substances tested are chemicals like pesticides, AZO chemicals, heavy metals, formaldehyde, and undesirable surfactants.
