NFPA 2112

NFPA 2112: National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standard for Industrial Flash Fire Flame Resistant Apparel.

(1) Vertical combustion performance test.

(2) The thermal stability test is basically the same as the 500°F oven test in the NFPA 1975 standard.

(3) The protective performance test of the mixed action of thermal radiation and thermal convection, referred to as TPP method.

(4) Thermal mannequin test. It can predict the degree of second or third degree burns the body is likely to achieve, the lower the degree of total body burns, the better the chance of survival.
