NFPA 1951

NFPA 1951, the standard for technical rescue accident protection suits, specifies requirements for three different types:

（1）Utility suit: Provides basic flame resistance and high levels of breathability to protect the wearer from physical hazards.

（2）Rescue and recovery suits: Based on utility suits, they provide a barrier against blood-borne pathogens to prevent the wearer from becoming infected by bodily fluids.

（3）CBRN Assemblies:provide limited protection against chemical, biological agents and radioactive particles during incidents involving chemical warfare agents or weapons of mass destruction.
